Faithful readers. I love you all.

Dear faithful readers:

I admire your persistence, your willingness to check my blog to see if there is anything new.

There are new things. I just haven't written about them yet. But I promise, I will.

The big news. . . well, maybe CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN won't mention it, but who watches them anyhow? Not me.

The big news is that I am going to update my "little old lady blog" into a real (gasp) author web-site. Not doing it on my own because every time I try to do something advanced on my laptop, the power goes out in my neighborhood. I'm working with a pro-fess-ion-al! Big time!

I'm so excited, I may have to take a nap. I'll keep you posted.

Harriet

  1. I saw "Agenda 21" in Target earlier today. I've been following A21 on and off for some time now. Sometimes it's hard to talk about it without sounding like a "conspiracy nut". But a lot of cities have signed on to ICLEA. Things like "Plan Bay Area". From an SF Chronicle article from earlier this month, about a lawsuit against that plan:

"We've been trying to raise substantive concerns about the plan, the restrictions it places on how individuals can live, how we can travel," said Peter Singleton, a co-founder of Bay Area Citizens. "It restricts people's ability to make their own choices."

    Sounds right on the mark.

PS: Just a suggestion: see if you can get your "pro-fess-ion-al" to left-justify the center column.

Keep on posting; keep on fighting. It's not over till we're all living in high-rises (at least, on the lower floors).

But let's make sure it doesn't come to that.
